Emissions Quantification and Reporting

An emissions inventory is the most commonly required report under state air quality regulations. From refineries to pulp and paper mills, emissions generated from similar equipment (e.g., storage tanks) may be quantified using very different approaches. This course will provide an overview of the air quality regulations governing the emissions inventory, the scientific basis of emission quantification methodologies, and the application of various emission estimation programs. Those attending this course will gain the basic knowledge to apply the most scientifically-sound approach to calculating emissions from common industrial processes.
